About Quadra Island

Quadra Island is located  adjacent to Vancouver Island's Campbell River. Grab a water taxi or bring your car and let BC Ferries shuttle you across the Discovery Passage, home to killer and humpback whales and some of the most famous salmon fishing grounds in the world!

Located in the traditional territory of the We Wai Kai people, Quadra is home to a lively, close-knit community.  Stunning beaches, parks, and forests provide wonderful adventure opportunities. Bike trails abound and there are several bike rental outlets. For those looking for something more calming, take advantage of the healing arts - massage, accupunture and a health food store are readily available.

Be sure to stop in for coffee at Aroma Cafe where you can enjoy a cup of organic coffee, and ask locals to point you in the direction of the nearest oyster or clam bed.

On Saturday throughout the summer, the action is located at the Farmers Market. Here, local artiscans, crafters, bakers and chocolate makers bring their wares. It is a fantastic opportunity to get a true sense of Island life.

However you choose to spend your time on Quadra, we look forward to welcoming you!
