Hanna Crudele

Hanna Crudele is an Italian/Canadian baroque violinist based in the Netherlands. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Historical Violin at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam (Netherlands), while playing with a wide range of ensembles specializing in historical performance including Orchestra of the Eighteenth Century and Julliard415. After completing her Bachelor of Violin Performance with a minor in voice from the University of Ottawa (Canada), Hanna pursued further studies of baroque violin at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. She has performed in venues throughout her home country of Canada as well as in the US, Italy, France, Netherlands, Czech Republic and Switzerland. Her biggest passion is chamber music and she plays regularly with her piano trio and historical string quartet (both ensembles based in Den Haag). In addition to violin, Hanna holds an MSc in Neuroscience and Psychology of Mental Health from King’s College London (UK), and is interested in research involving the effects of music on mental
health and cognitive processes.
